Overview

ProTaskInnate ("we," "our," or "us") is a desktop productivity widget. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data Storage

ProTaskInnate stores all your personal data — including events, tasks, notes, and settings — locally on your device. Your data is saved in a local file managed by the application and never leaves your computer during normal use.

We do not have access to your events, tasks, notes, or any content you create in the app.

What We Collect

We collect only the minimum information needed to operate the subscription service:

Email address — When you subscribe, your email is collected by our payment processor (Stripe) and used to verify your subscription status in the app.
Payment information — Credit card and billing details are collected and processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Subscription status — We check whether your email has an active subscription. This is the only server communication the app makes.

What We Do NOT Collect

Your events, tasks, notes, or any content you create
Usage analytics or telemetry
Device identifiers or hardware information
Location data
Cookies (the desktop app does not use cookies)

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Stripe — Processes payments and manages subscriptions. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Vercel — Hosts our website and subscription verification API. Vercel's privacy policy is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Data Security

Since your content data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's security. We recommend keeping your operating system updated and using standard device protection (passwords, encryption).

Subscription verification requests are transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit).

Data Export and Deletion

You can export all your data at any time using the "Export my data" feature in the app's settings menu. This creates a JSON file containing all your events, tasks, notes, and settings.

To delete your data, simply uninstall the application. Since all content is stored locally, uninstalling removes it completely. To delete your Stripe subscription data, contact us at contact@protaskinnate.com.

Children's Privacy

ProTaskInnate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
