  • Checklists now split into two clear sections — open items on top, completed items below a "Done" divider. Add item always lands in the open section
  • Checking off an item moves it to the done section automatically; unchecking pops it back to the top. Drag-and-drop is restricted within each section
  • Calendar "Add Event" from month view now opens as a floating popup instead of pushing the calendar down
  • Adding an event auto-populates the currently selected date — change it with the built-in date picker right in the form
  • Date picker in event forms now uses the same custom mini-calendar as the rest of the app — consistent look and scroll-to-navigate behaviour
  • In the month popup, the date in the header becomes a clickable dropdown when adding an event — no redundant date field in the form body
  • Global shortcut now works both ways — same key brings the app to the front or dismisses it back. Updated label in settings to "Focus & Dismiss Shortcut"
  • Day and list views now have previous/next day arrow buttons and a persistent Today pill that dims when you're already on today
  • Improved text contrast across all dark color schemes — secondary and muted text is noticeably easier to read
  • Panel and eye toggle buttons no longer accidentally re-trigger when pressing Enter after clicking them
  • "What's New" link added to the app menu so you can always check the latest updates
  • Month calendar supports wider panel sizes on larger screens

  • Update indicator on the menu strip is now a download arrow instead of a plain dot
  • Shortcut conflict message now shows directly in the shortcut button — impossible to miss
  • Fixed drag handles (resize by height or panel width) drifting at non-100% interface scale
  • Default shortcut changed to Ctrl+Alt+P to avoid conflicts with common apps
  • Shortcut recording pauses the active shortcut so it can't intercept your keypress while recording
  • Interface scale capped at 125% to prevent clipping on smaller screens
